How many Layers do you have?

Have you ever felt like someone was wearing a mask around you? Like they weren’t showing their true selves, but instead putting on a facade to conform or impress others? The truth is, that many people hide who they really are for various reasons. Do you? why individuals feel, the need to conceal their authentic selves. People hide their true selves for various reasons. One common reason is fear of rejection or judgment from others. They may worry that showing their genuine identity will result in disapproval or ostracism, so they put on a mask to fit in with the crowd.

Another reason people hide who they really are is to avoid conflict. By concealing their true feelings and beliefs, individuals may be able to avoid uncomfortable disagreements with others and maintain a sense of peace. Some people also wear masks as a form of self-protection. Perhaps they’ve been hurt or rejected in the past, so they guard themselves by keeping their authentic selves hidden away. In some cases, societal expectations and norms can also play a role in why someone may choose to conceal aspects of themselves. For example, if someone feels like certain parts of their personality or background aren’t socially acceptable, they may suppress those traits and present themselves differently instead. Ultimately, it’s important to remember that everyone has different motivations for wearing a mask at times. It’s not always easy to reveal our most authentic selves – but doing so can lead to more meaningful connections and greater personal fulfillment over time. Well, that’s what I’ve been told lol. These days, I just prefer to express feelings and emotions through my writing and art. I wonder if I am alone in this way. -Freedom Mercado

The Pattern

My mentor’s latest assignment challenged me to draw my strongest emotion, which he refers to as the ‘four phases of life.’ It begins with the earliest moment I lost my mother when I was just a child, leaving me with nowhere to turn. As I grew older, I felt a persistent cold and rain within me. I experienced the storm passing by, and then my grandfather passed away, followed by my grandmother, the last of them all. These four situations was the most important four moments of my life. Deep lost and more lost I guess. Mr. Coa smiled and just said “I want you to share this on your Facebook, Mr.Freedom Mercado your artwork will grow as well as your writing.” so I’m doing what he order to me to do. My inner self or refection , I see my future being alone in the storm. Much Love and Respect
